We’re excited to share some incredible news!

Fresh Water Textiles has acquired Two Sisters Ecotextiles of Seattle, Washington, a pioneering sustainable fabric company trusted by designers around the world. I started Fresh Water Textiles in 2015, before founding Eelo, an independent textile label and supply shop with retail locations in Traverse City and Petoskey, Michigan.

At Fresh Water Textiles, sustainability has always been close to our hearts. As champions of clean, fresh water and responsible practices, we believe the future of textiles is deeply connected to the health of our communities, our waterways, and our world. Bringing Two Sisters Ecotextiles into the Fresh Water Textiles family feels like a natural fit, and I am honored to carry their remarkable legacy forward and expand it to the Great Lakes region, where fresh water is part of who we are.

We look forward to welcoming you to our updated website shortly, complete with our comprehensive selection of sustainable fabrics and European deadstock. Our studio and workroom will be open by appointment in the spring of 2027, with samples available at Eelo.
